Before really starting building an analemmatic sundial (or Lalande's sundial), it really seemed indispensable to think about the project and the final product which we were going to build. We came to the conclusion that we had to think ahead in order to plan the different tasks which we had to carry out.
We started our project with a visit at Pommiers, where a beautiful analemmatic sundial was built, which enabled us to understand how it works and how it was built. We made the list of the materials we needed to build such a sundial.
